The Giardino Corsini provided this amazingly rustic background that served as the perfect inspiration we needed to form our vision. Our colour palette was based in neutrals: primarily browns, beige, chocolate, and champagne.
Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We wanted to use its natural elements as much as possible throughout the wedding. We used olive leaves as the base, and our florist added in a mix of eucalyptus, dried flowers, lotus seed and succulents that felt more rustic.
One of our favorite dj’s in the States, Herbert Holler came all the way to Florence from NYC for our wedding and he puts on a great dance party!
My dress was by Katie May. I absolutely loved it. It felt like it fit my personality, and it was actually extremely comfortable. I felt beautiful yet understated-just like the theme we wanted to give for our wedding.
Bridesmaid dresses: Amsale and Twobirds. My shoes: Badgley Mischka, Troy’s beautiful suit coat was created by Canali, suit pants by Walker and Slater, and shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo. The attire for Troy’s groomsmen (also Walker and Slater) were also inspired by our theme of rustic shades and earth tones.
