We are really pleased to share this engagement and couple portrait session in Positano, captured over 2 days, by the very talented Berni Photography.
On the first day we met in the late afternoon for his proposal to Dustynne on the terrace of “Le Sirenuse hotel”, with a heartbreaking view to the roofs over Positano. I pretended to be a guest, following the scene and then seized the most spontaneous moments of the proposal, what a moment.
The next morning I took the guys for a walk in an almost deserted Positano for their official couple and engagement session. It was early in the morning, the air was fresh and we enjoyed those places, usually crowded, empty. It has been such a good idea because I saw their intimacy so natural in those places, so incredibly intense. I wanted to speak about love and I found precious and real moments of beauty in front of me.
What made the shoot so special for the couple was Lorenzo made sure to spend time getting to know the couple before the shoot, he talked on the phone and on Skype and talked about what made the couple ‘them’. On top of this, Lorenzo spent his time scouting great locations, good lighting and made sure to tell a story through his photography, and not just take pictures. Lorenzo played a big part in Dustynne & Fraser’s engagement, helping with the location, the setting and making sure that he was always able to capture a good moment.
